Opening Trade

After issuing a signal, we initiate (open) a trade. Our “Suggested Entry” price may be stated in the form of a limit or of a market order.

If our signal states a limit price as the "Suggested Entry" price:

Within the time span dictated by the "Execute Period", we will open a trade once the short option trades at or above our "Suggested Entry" price.

As a general rule, if the market reaches the "Suggested Entry" price, our records will indicate that we initiated the short option position at this specific price.

On some occasions, the “Suggested Entry Price” may not be reached throughout an entire trading day and also knocked at the market open the following trading day. In this situation, we will then state that we initiated a position at the market price that was available when the market opened, if that price is higher than our “Suggested Entry” price.

If our signal states a market order for the "Suggested Entry" price:

If a signal was issued during trading hours, we will initiate a position at that session's market closing price. We will then state that we opened the trade at the available market closing price.

If a signal was issued after the market close, we will initiate a position on the following trading day at the opening market price. We will then state that we opened the trade at the available market opening price on that specific trading day.
